The Blade Master is based on a Toyota Corolla and shares the same sillhouette, but don’t be fooled by the comparison. While the Corolla can come with an engine as small as 1.4L, the Blade Master shoehorns a 3.5L V6 engine into the engine bay, turning this into a 206kW / 344Nm powerhouse. This is the same 2GR-FE engine as found in the Toyota Aurion, Lexus ES350, Lexus RX350, Toyota Kluger, RAV4, Tarago/Estima, and many others. Aside from Lotus putting this engine into the Evora, the Blade is easily the smallest of the Toyota lineup to to get this powerplant, and an engine capable of pushing along large vehicles like the Lexus RX350 or Tarago comes alive in such a small vehicle that weights hundreds of kilos less.
